"Working" Photography Field Trip

Several senior students from our AWQ3/4M Photography class as well as some of our Digital Media SHSM students participated in a very successful "working" photo field trip yesterday!

The morning started with a thunderstorm that threatened to cancel our trip, but the clouds broke and the weather turned in our favour.  Our first visit on our excursion was to Jackson Park/Sunken Gardens, where our student artists used their cameras to create attractive images in various genres, including nature, portraiture, still life and landscape.

Later, we traveled downtown where students shot a wide variety of interesting street scenes, urban architecture and landscapes.  The weather became warm and sunny, and our students had a great time applying skills learned through the semester!
